You don’t need to have all the answers to be a good listener. Sometimes a friendly ear and space to share is all someone needs. Let someone know they’re being heard this #TimeToTalk Day.

Talking Saves Lives

18 people die by suicide every day in England and Wales, but help is out there.
There’s always someone to listen.

Every Mind Matters – NHS

Find your little big thing for your mental health. There are little things we can all do to lift our mood or ease our anxiety – we need to find what works for us. This could be as simple as taking a walk in nature, prioritising our sleep or opening up to a friend. Our little thing, if we keep doing it, will make a big difference to how we feel.

NHS talking therapies for anxiety and depression – NHS

Talking therapies, or psychological therapies, are effective and confidential treatments delivered by fully trained and accredited NHS practitioners. They can help if you’re struggling with things like feelings of depression, excessive worry, social anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

WBSS – Walsall Bereavement Counselling

WBSS is a local charity providing specialist bereavement support to bereaved Walsall residents of any age. We offer an adult bereavement support service ‘Let’s Talk’ and a children/young people’s bereavement service THE SWING.
